How'd you get so big?!?!?!

Looking at this picture and seeing my son Jordan now tower over me, I feel a little weird. I guess it's because he is my child, and was once my baby. He looks so much like his dad, and I don't see myself in his physical appearance at all. He is smarter than I ever was, and he has a great honor and character. He is truly turning out to be a great man. I have always tried to be there for him as his mother and his friend. And even though I don't see myself in him, and he doesn't look like me, I know I am a part of him.

Jett didn't want to dress up for Halloween.

Halloween Time

Well, it was our annual "Opening of the Coffin." Tom made
this coffin for me more than 12 years ago. Jordan was
two months old. I wanted it as a front yard decoration.
This was before everybody decorated for Halloween, so
you couldn't get stuff like this in the stores yet.
We store other SCARY Halloween stuff inside of it, and
the kids look forward to opening it up every year.
We hear for weeks before Halloween is even here,
"When do we get to open the coffin, Dad?" As you can see
there is one kid not in the picture. Jett. He didn't want
anything thing to do with it. It scares him.

SULTAN OF SWING

Jordan smacked his third over-the-fence homerun during the last game of the season. It was another towering blast over the right-field fence. One parent asked me whether Jordan had a professional batting coach because his swing was "perfect." I said, "Yeah, me." This photo is a product of several years of tweaking his swing from tee-ball to the majors. Yes, it is PERFECT. I am so proud of both our boys for their development and success in little league throughout the years. Tom
